Benelli launches its most affordable motorcycle in India
Expanding its line-up of motorcycles, Benelli India has launched the all new Leoncino 250 at Rs. 2.5 lakh. The naked cruiser arrives as the most affordable motorcycle by the Italian automaker in the country. Notably, the bookings for the Leoncino 250 are live via company's official website and dealerships at a token amount of Rs. 6,000. Here's all about it.
Benelli Leoncino 250: At a glance
The Benelli Leoncino 250 comes with a naked street look and sits on a steel trellis frame. The motorcycle features a three-tone paint job with blacked-out alloy wheels. The exposed engine as well as rounded headlamp and mirrors add to its retro appeal. Further, the bike gets a fully-digital instrument console and an all-LED setup for lighting.
Power and performance
The Benelli Leoncino 250 is powered by a 249cc liquid-cooled, single cylinder engine which is capable of producing 25.83PS of power at 9,250rpm and 21.2Nm of peak torque at 8,000rpm. The motorcycle houses a 6-speed manual gearbox to handle transmission duties.

On the safety front, the Benelli Leoncino 250 comes equipped with 280mm disc brake on the front, 240mm disc brake on the rear, and dual-channel ABS for improved road handling. The motorcycle houses 41mm inverted telescopic forks on the front and pre-loaded adjustable monoshock unit on the rear to handle the suspension duties.
