Bajaj launches flagship Pulsar NS400Z in India at ₹1.85 lakh
What's the story
Bajaj's much-anticipated Pulsar NS400Z has finally made its grand debut, with a starting price of ₹1.85 lakh (ex-showroom). This is introductory price and is likely to change in the coming months.
The motorcycle is powered by a liquid-cooled, 373cc, single-cylinder engine identical to the one found in the Dominar model.
This engine can generate up to 40hp at 8,800rpm and 35Nm at 6,500rpm, enabling the NS400Z to reach a top speed of up to 154km/h.

NS400Z's unique design and advanced features
The Pulsar NS400Z stands out with its unique headlight design, featuring a central LED projector headlight flanked by two lightning bolt-shaped DRLs.
The bike's aggressive look is further enhanced by sharp tank extensions.
It offers four riding modes (Sport, Road, Rain, Offroad), three levels of traction control, and switchable dual-channel ABS.
A color LCD dash controls all rider aids and displays navigation data on a separate screen on the right-hand side.

The Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox and a slip-and-assist clutch, mirroring the setup of the Dominar.
It also boasts an underbelly exhaust muffler similar to the smaller NS200 model.
The bike's suspension system comprises a gold-finished 43mm USD fork and preload-adjustable monoshock, ensuring smooth rides on various terrains.

NS400Z's color options and booking details
The Pulsar NS400Z is available in four striking colors: Glossy Racing Red, Pewter Grey, Metallic Pearl White, and Brooklyn Black.
All color options are priced at special price of ₹1.85 lakh, although the company has not disclosed when this introductory offer will end.
Bookings for the bike are now open for a token amount of ₹5,000 across all Bajaj showrooms and on the company's website with deliveries set to begin in the first week of June.
