Bajaj Pulsar 400 previewed in leaked images: Expected features
Bajaj Auto's highly anticipated Pulsar 400, set to launch on May 3, 2024, has had its first look revealed through leaked images. These photos provide a sneak peek into the new headlight design and other exciting features of this two-wheeler. The Pulsar 400 is expected to be a budget-friendly option that doesn't compromise on its feature list. The leaked images showcase a completely redesigned front face and tank for the Pulsar 400.
It will flaunt a digital instrument cluster
The Pulsar 400 is tipped to come with a fully-digital instrument cluster, including a range of smartphone-based connectivity features. Navigation assistance could be part of the package. Bajaj may also incorporate a split reverse LCD display on the Pulsar 400, similar to what is seen on the Dominar 400. However, an entirely new full-color display seems more likely.
Pulsar 400 will be the fastest bike in its category
The Pulsar 400 is predicted to have the most streamlined profile in the entire Pulsar lineup. Bajaj's goal is to position the Pulsar 400 as one of the fastest bikes in its category, setting it apart from competitors like Triumph Speed 400, KTM 390 Duke, Hero Mavrick 440, BMW G310R, and TVS Apache RR 310. To boost speed and acceleration, the bike will feature a wider rear tire and 17-inch wheels at both ends.
The Pulsar 400 will get dual-channel ABS
The Pulsar 400 will come standard with dual-channel ABS and a mono-shock suspension at the rear. For peak performance, Bajaj may employ the 373cc, single-cylinder engine from the Dominar for the Pulsar 400. This engine also fuels KTM's 390 Adventure and RC 390 bikes. However, power and torque output may differ among these models.
