Bajaj Dominar 400 becomes costlier in India by Rs. 10,000
Bajaj Auto has increased the prices of its recently launched Dominar 400 bike by Rs. 10,000 in India. With this price revision, the flagship tourer will now cost you Rs. 1.90 lakh. To recall, the motorcycle was launched in April for Rs. 1.74 lakh but following immense demand, its prices were hiked by Rs. 6,000 even in July. Here's our roundup.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 comes with a naked sporty look featuring a dual-tone color scheme, split seats as well as grab rails, and blacked out mirrors. The muscular looking fuel tank, twin barrel exhaust, and alloy wheels add to its sporty stance. Talking about electronic features, the motorcycle gets a fully-digital instrument console and an all-LED lighting setup for headlamp, turn indicators, and taillight.
Power and performance
The Bajaj Dominar 400 is powered by a 373.3cc single-cylinder DOHC engine which is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. This engine churns out 40PS of maximum power at 8,650rpm and 35Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.

The Bajaj Dominar 400 comes equipped with disc brakes on both wheels along with dual-channel ABS for better grip on the road. It houses upside-down (USD) forks on the front and a monoshock unit on the rear to handle suspension duties. Further, the motorcycle has a top speed of 137kmph and it can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 7.38 seconds.
