Bajaj Auto Limited has launched a more rugged variant of its CT110 commuter bike in India, the CT110X. The CT110X has been priced at Rs. 55,494 and offers a more rugged and durable body as compared to the regular variant. As for the key highlights, it comes with semi-knobby tires, a tough built, and an 8.48hp, 115cc engine.
The bike offers a wheelbase of 1,285mm
The Bajaj CT110X sits on a semi-double cradle frame and features a higher-raised front fender, a flat-type single seat, thicker crash guards, moulded footholds, and a rear carrier with a 7kg loading capacity. It also houses a rounded headlamp, a long exhaust, and rides on semi-knobby tires to offer better on-road grip. It has a wheelbase of 1,285mm and a ground clearance of 170mm.
It is powered by an 8.48hp, 115cc engine
The Bajaj CT110X draws power from a 115cc DTS-i motor that is tuned to produce 8.48hp of power at 7,500rpm and 9.81Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. The mill comes linked to a 4-speed gearbox.
Drum brakes on both the wheels ensure safety
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Bajaj CT110X is equipped with drum brakes on both the wheels, along with a combined braking system for improved handling on the roads. Meanwhile, suspension duties on the bike are taken care of by hydraulic telescopic forks on the front and a spring-in-spring unit on the rear end.
