Audi reveals its e-tron GT sedan, claims 488km range

Audi has revealed its new electric car, the e-tron GT sedan. It is offered in two versions of e-tron GT Quattro and RS e-tron GT.
As for the highlights, the premium vehicle has an aggressive look and a spacious cabin with a host of tech features. It packs an 85kWh Lithium-ion battery and delivers a range of up to 488km.

The Audi e-tron GT has a futuristic look, featuring bold sculpted lines, the company's signature e-tron pattern on the front, wide air dams, and sleek Matrix LED headlamps.
It is flanked by blacked-out B-pillars, sleek ORVMs, and 19- to 21-inch alloy wheels with aero blades. An end-to-end LED taillight with an arrowhead-shaped lighting signature graces the rear section.

A peek inside the cabin
Audi e-tron GT has a premium cabin with low positioned front seats, a lengthy center console, as well as a flat-bottom multifunctional power steering wheel.
The driver-oriented dashboard houses a 12.3-inch instrument cluster with a virtual cockpit and a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment console. The latter offers support for a Wi-Fi hotspot and an e-tron route planner.

Audi e-tron GT comes with the company's Pre-Sense safety system, along with adaptive cruise assist, Park Assist Plus, and optional Tour, City, and Park packages. It also offers an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS) that creates a variety of sound profiles both inside-out.

The Audi e-tron GT packs two electric motors and an 85kWh Lithium-ion battery, linked to an all-wheel-drive system. The GT Quattro delivers an output of 469hp/630Nm while the RS e-tron GT makes 590hp/830Nm.
The former can sprint from 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds and clock a top-speed of 245km/h, while the RS does the same in 3.3 seconds and has a top-speed of 250km/h.

What about the pricing?
In the US, the prices of the Audi e-tron GT start at $99,900 (approximately Rs. 72.8 lakh). It will make its way to dealerships this summer. However, no details regarding its pricing and availability in India are currently available.
