Audi Q5's price temporarily reduced by upto Rs. 5.80 lakh
To mark the 10th anniversary of its premium SUV, the Q5, German automaker Audi has slashed its price in India by upto Rs. 5.80 lakh. As part of a limited-period offer, the flagship car is now available at a starting price of Rs. 49.99 lakh. Notably, the SUV is offered in both petrol and diesel powertrains with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Let's talk about the specifications of Audi Q5
The Audi Q5 comes with a sporty design featuring a wide chrome-finished grille and trapezoidal air-intakes on the front. The premium look of the SUV is further accentuated by a chrome frame surrounding the windows, and silver-colored skid plates as well as roof rails. For lighting, the car houses LED headlamps with mounted DRLs, turn indicators, and LED taillights.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the Audi Q5 sports a premium 5-seater cabin featuring leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof, and three-zone automatic climate control. The car also gets a 12.3-inch virtual cockpit instrument cluster along with an 8.3-inch Audi MMI system, and wireless charging support. For safety, the car offers eight airbags, a rearview camera, and driver assist features like park assist as well as hill descent assist.
And, here's a look at the engine options
The Audi Q5 is available in two powertrains: 45 TFSI Quattro (2.0-liter petrol) and 40 TDI Quattro (2.0-liter diesel). The former is capable of producing 248bhp of power and 370Nm of peak torque, while the latter puts out 188bhp and 400Nm. Lastly, the transmission duties on the SUV are handled by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
The company has also slashed the price of Q7
In addition to Q5, the company has also slashed the price of its high-end Q7 SUV by upto Rs. 6 lakh. The petrol-powered variant of the Q7 is currently available at Rs. 68.99 lakh, while the diesel-based model is priced at Rs. 71.99 lakh.
