Aston Martin V8 Vantage debuts in India at ₹4 crore
Aston Martin, the renowned British supercar manufacturer, has introduced its latest model, the V8 Vantage in India. The car is priced at ₹3.99 crore (ex-showroom). The new model boasts a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers an impressive 656hp of power and 800Nm of torque. This marks a significant increase from the previous version's output of 503hp and 685Nm.
0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds
The enhanced power of the new V8 Vantage allows it to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 3.5 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 325km/h. This makes it the fastest model in the Vantage series to date. The engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic gearbox, ensuring smooth and efficient transmission of power.
Car rides on 21-inch alloys
The new V8 Vantage features an aluminum body structure and is exclusively available with rear-wheel-drive. The car has been engineered for perfect weight distribution, achieving a 50:50 ratio. It sports Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers with an electronic rear differential, rides on 21-inch alloy wheels fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport S5 tires, and comes standard with carbon-ceramic brakes for superior stopping power.
A look at the features
The exterior design of the new V8 Vantage is inspired by its larger sibling, the DB12, featuring a bold and muscular profile. The interior introduces a new design language and includes Aston Martin's latest infotainment system first seen in the DB12. The cabin is adorned with haircell leather, a sports steering wheel, and power-adjustable Sports Plus seats as standard features.
It packs a 15-speaker setup
The V8 Vantage is equipped with a Bowers & Wilkins 15-speaker setup and a full suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). These include autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring among others. A 360-degree surround view camera is also included for enhanced safety and convenience.
Ddeliveries to commence from Q4
Aston Martin has announced that deliveries of the new V8 Vantage will commence from the fourth quarter of 2024. The company also offers customization options for customers seeking a more personalized supercar experience. Alongside the launch of this model, Aston Martin showcased its endurance racing car, the Vantage GT3 Challenger, set to compete in events like IMSA.
