Vespa has launched its all-new Vespa 125 model in India starting at ₹1.32 lakh.
The updated range includes four variants of the popular scooter model, each offering a unique set of features and design elements.
The base variant is priced at ₹1.32 lakh while the premium 'S Tech' variant carries a price tag of ₹1.96 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, Maharashtra).
The company has also introduced a special 'Qala' variant dedicated to India's rich artistic heritage.
Design updates
Vespa 125: A blend of modern features and classic design
The 2025 Vespa 125 range combines modernity with classic design. The scooters have been given subtle changes in their overall design and now sport a range of new colors.
The base Vespa 125 comes in seven single-tone shades: Verde Amabile, Rosso Red, Pearl White, Nero Black, Azzurro Provenza, Blue & Pearl White and Orange & Pearl White.
The Qala edition, inspired by henna art forms, showcases motifs from various parts of India.
Color options
Vespa S 125: A tribute to India's love for gold
The Vespa S 125 variant comes in eight color options, including a unique "Oro" shade with a gold tint. This color has been specifically designed as a tribute to India's love for gold.
Priced at ₹1.36 lakh, the Vespa S 125 is ₹4,000 costlier than the base model and comes in other shades like Verde Ambizioso (Matte), Pearl White, Nero Black (Matte), Giallo Yellow (Matte), Arancio Impulsivo, Red & Pearl White as well as Black & Pearl White.
New variants
Vespa Tech and S Tech: Advanced features and revised styling
The Vespa Tech and S Tech are the new entrants in the lineup, bringing advanced features such as key-less ignition, 5.0-inch TFT, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Vespa Tech 125 comes in three colors: Qala (Special Edition), Energico Blue, and Grigio Grey at ₹1.92 lakh.
Meanwhile, the top-tier Vespa S Tech 125 variant comes in two shades - Nero Black (Matte) and Pearl White for ₹1.96 lakh.
Engine upgrades
Vespa enhances performance with upgraded engines
Vespa has improved the performance of its scooters by upgrading the 125cc and 150cc engines.
The new 125cc engine now offers 9.5hp at 7,100rpm and 10.1Nm at 5,600rpm, while the new 150cc engine produces power of 11.4hp at 7,500rpm and torque of 11.66Nm at 6,100rpm.
The prices of the new 150cc models are yet to be revealed.
