Simple Energy has launched the 2025 version of its One electric scooter, now boasting an impressive IDC-claimed range of 248km.
The model retains its original price tag of ₹1.66 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru), making it a cost-effective option for eco-conscious consumers.
The upgrade primarily focuses on extending the scooter's range without any mechanical alterations or increase in cost.

Simple One's battery and drivetrain
The Simple One electric scooter runs on a 5kWh battery, split between two packs: a fixed 3.7kWh unit and a removable 1.3kWh pack.
The company has been able to achieve the 248km range through electronic tweaks and a better drivetrain.
Although it is one of the heaviest e-scooters at 136kg, it also stands tall with a seat height of 796mm.
Upgrades
New features and expansion plans
The revamped Simple One gets a tire pressure monitor, regenerative braking, as well as a USB charging port.
Although it currently runs on a limited network of 10 dealerships across the country, Simple Energy has big plans for expansion.
The company intends to set up 150 showrooms and 200 service stations across India by the end of FY2026.

Here's what Ola S1 Pro+ offers
The Ola S1 Pro+ packs a 5.5kW electric motor linked to a 4kWh/5.3kWh battery pack, and delivers a claimed range of 242km per charge.
It offers a full-LED lighting setup, Bluetooth connectivity, regenerative braking, cruise control, and four riding modes (Hyper, Sports, Normal and Eco).
The scooter tips the scales at 116kg, and carries a price tag of ₹1.55-1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).
