Rolls-Royce unveils redesigned Cullinan Series II SUV for 2025
Rolls-Royce is set to give its best-selling model, the Cullinan, a significant facelift for 2025. The revamped luxury SUV, now known as the Cullinan Series II, boasts a bold new front fascia designed to attract attention. Alongside this updated model, Rolls-Royce will also launch the Black Badge variant, equipped with a powerful V12 engine delivering an impressive 600hp of power.
A blend of power and aesthetic updates
The Cullinan Series II showcases updated headlamps with extended LED DRLs that extend downward on the bumper, adding to its imposing presence. The front bumper has been redesigned, replacing slender air intakes on either side of the grille with a large flat surface. According to Rolls-Royce, this new upright design draws inspiration from "illuminated skyscrapers in the megacities" where the Cullinan is increasingly popular.
New features and additions to the car
The SUV now features a light-up grille, similar to other models from Rolls-Royce and some BMW cars. Other notable additions include majestic 23-inch wheels - a first for this model - and a fresh coat of Emperador Truffle paint. The Black Badge version of the Cullinan also gets unique 23-inch wheels with 10 interwoven spokes. Various exterior accents, including the Spirit of Ecstasy figurine, have been given a menacing black appearance.
Luxury meets craftsmanship inside
While the layout remains unchanged from the pre-facelift Cullinan, it now features the Spirit of Ecstasy beneath the analog clock. The Black Badge's dashboard is adorned with carbon fiber trim, hand-polished to a mirror finish after six coats of lacquer - a method that takes 21 days to complete. The Black Badge model also flaunts a new Duality Twill leather interior, that uses 2.2 million stitches and 17.7km of thread.
Availability of Cullinan Series II
Both standard Cullinan and Black Badge, continue to feature the twelve-cylinder engine, with the twin-turbo, 6.75-liter V12 expected to be phased out as Rolls-Royce has pledged to go electric by 2030. The Rolls-Royce Cullinan Series II is expected to arrive later this year, with models likely to reach India sometime in 2025. The Cullinan can still be ordered as a seven-seater, with individual rear seats installed in the cargo compartment, which are only used when the SUV is stationary.
