2025 Mercedes-AMG GT63 Performance arrives with cosmetic changes, hybrid powertrain

German automaker Mercedes-AMG has finally introduced its latest model, the 2025 GT63 S E Performance 4-Door Coupe.
For the new model year, the car has received a minor design revamp and the latest MBUX software inside.
The vehicle features a powerful hybrid powertrain that combines a twin-turbocharged V8 engine with an electric motor on the rear axle.

A look at the performance
The GT63 S E Performance's powertrain features a 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 mill that produces 630hp/900Nm.
It is mated to a nine-speed AMG Speedshift automatic gearbox and an electric motor on the rear axle.
The hybrid system's combined output is a staggering 831hp/1,400Nm.
Mercedes-AMG says the car can go from 0-97km/h in just 2.8 seconds and clock an electronically limited top speed of 317km/h.
Features
Advanced braking system and electric motor capabilities
The GT63 S E Performance comes with a standard carbon-ceramic braking system.
It features six-piston calipers clamping onto 16.5-inch front disks and single-piston calipers for the 15.0-inch rear disks.
The car's electric motor can generate 94hp continuously but can go up to 201hp for short bursts of 10 seconds. It also packs a 6.1kWh battery (4.8kWh usable) that can power the car at speeds of up to 140km/h.

The interior of the GT63 S E Performance is equipped with the latest MBUX software and comes standard with an AMG Performance steering wheel. As for the pricing, Mercedes-AMG says that the four-door sedan will start at $200,100 (around ₹1.74 crore) in the US.
