
Ducati Scrambler Icon Dark goes official in India at ₹10L

Ducati has launched its cheapest motorcycle, the Scrambler Icon Dark, in India.
The bike comes at a price of ₹9.97 lakh (ex-showroom) and is a more budget-friendly option than the standard Scrambler Icon, which costs ₹94,000 more.
The new model is distinguished by its unique dark visual theme with blacked-out bodywork and cycle parts, and a smoked headlamp lens.

The Scrambler Icon Dark misses out on the small underseat cowl of the standard model. But, Ducati offers a range of accessories for those looking to customize their bike.
These include options for different exhausts, seats, and colored covers.
The motorbike is powered by an 803cc, air-oil-cooled, L-Twin engine which offers 73hp of power at 8,250rpm and torque of 65Nm at 7,000rpm.

The Scrambler Icon Dark features a six-speed gearbox with an up/down quickshifter. It borrows its tubular steel trellis frame, cycle parts, as well as electronics package from the standard Icon model.
The bike gets Pirelli MT 60 RS tires on an 18-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.
A 4.3-inch color TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, cornering ABS, four-level traction control, and two riding modes - Road and Sport are also offered with this model.
