Aston Martin launches new Vantage in India at ₹4cr
Aston Martin has launched its latest model, the 2025 Vantage, in India at ₹3.99 crore. The globally updated Vantage was first introduced in February and features significant power upgrades along with a revamped design. This launch is in line with Aston Martin's recent commitment to continue manufacturing traditional combustion-engine vehicles as long as regulations allow it.
The car is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine
The 2025 Vantage is powered by a significantly enhanced 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, delivering an impressive 665hp and 800Nm of torque. This is a substantial increase from its predecessor's power output of 510hp and 685Nm of torque. The power boost was achieved through modifications to the V8's cam profiles, optimized compression ratios, larger turbochargers, and improved cooling systems.
2025 Vantage can do 0-100km/h in under 3.5 seconds
The 2025 Vantage features an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 325km/h. The model also incorporates a new launch control system and adjustable traction control for improved acceleration and handling. Additionally, the vehicle's agility and stability have been enhanced with re-engineered front body cross members, increased lateral strength between rear suspension towers, and intelligent adaptive dampers.
Aston Martin Vantage has a revised grille
The new Vantage showcases an enlarged grille, Matrix LED headlights similar to the DB12 model, a wider rear bumper, and larger tailpipes. Customers can personalize their vehicle with three available liveries and choose from 21 colors with additional options for pinstripes and accents. The car comes standard with 21-inch forged wheels, cast-iron brake discs, and a sophisticated vehicle dynamics control system. For enhanced performance, optional carbon ceramic brakes can reduce the unsprung weight by 27kg.
2025 Vantage: Inside the cabin
The interior of the 2025 Vantage has been updated with a redesigned dashboard that houses a new 10.25-inch infotainment system and physical buttons and switches. The standard audio setup includes an 11-speaker, 390-watt system, but customers have the option to upgrade to a more powerful 15-speaker, 1,170-watt system from Bowers & Wilkins. These enhancements aim to provide a more immersive driving experience for Aston Martin customers.
