2024 Triumph Tiger 900 series launched in India: Check prices
Triumph Motorcycles has officially launched its 2024 Tiger 900 series in India, featuring two models: the GT and the Rally Pro. The GT model is priced at ₹13.95 lakh, while the Rally Pro carries a price tag of ₹15.95 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Both bikes are fueled by an inline three-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 888cc engine that delivers a power output of 106.5hp at 9,500rpm and torque of 90Nm at 6,850rpm.
Design and color options
The Tiger 900 Rally Pro and GT models are designed with a tall, muscular stance and robust build, making them suitable for off-road adventures and long-distance touring. The Rally Pro offers three color options - Carbon Black, Matt Khaki Green, as well as Ash Gray. Meanwhile, the GT model is available in Graphite, Snowdonia White, and Carnival Red shades.
Advanced features of the bikes
Both Tiger 900 Rally Pro and GT come equipped with a 7.0-inch TFT screen with My Triumph Connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, traction control, cornering ABS, and all LED lights. The Rally Pro offers additional features such as six ride modes - Road, Sport, Rain, Rider Configurable, Off-Road, and Off-Road Pro; illuminated switches, a tire pressure monitoring system, a center stand, and engine protection guards. The GT provides four riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road.
Suspension specifications of Tiger 900 series
The GT model features 45mm inverted forks with manual rebound and compression damping adjustment at the front, and a Marzocchi mono-shock unit at the rear. Meanwhile, Rally Pro is equipped with Showa's 45mm inverted forks on the front side, and a Showa mono-shock absorber on the rear end. The Rally Pro has significantly higher travel of 240mm at the front and 230mm at the rear.
Wheel and tire details
The Tiger 900 Rally Pro comes fitted with a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel, wrapped in Bridgestone Battlax Adventure tires. On the other hand, the GT Pro has a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy rim, fitted with Metzeler TouranceTM Next tires. These features contribute to the bikes' off-road capabilities and long-distance touring suitability.
