2024 Porsche Panamera makes Indian debut at ₹1.7 crore
German automaker Porsche has launched the 2024 version of the Panamera in the Indian market, with a price tag of ₹1.69 crore (ex-showroom). The luxury sedan, which had its global debut last year, is now available for delivery across the country. The third-generation Panamera comes with several aesthetic enhancements and new features, that set it apart from its predecessor.
Aesthetic enhancements and new features
The exterior design of the 2024 Panamera largely mirrors its predecessor, but with several subtle changes. These include a redesigned headlamp fitted with standard LED Matrix lights, an extra air inlet above the license plate, and revamped window lines. The interior has also been modified, featuring a gear selector moved to the right of the new steering wheel, and onto the dashboard, a design cue borrowed from Porsche's electric Taycan model.

The 2024 Porsche Panamera offers an optional 10.9-inch passenger screen that provides technical data and more. The high-performance sedan is packed with 8-way electrically adjustable seats, six airbags, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with Navigation. Additionally, it includes smartphone integration and voice command capabilities among other features, enhancing the overall driving experience.
Power and performance
The new Porsche Panamera for India is powered by a robust 2.9-liter, twin-turbo, V6 engine that delivers 343hp and 500Nm of peak torque. The power is transmitted to the rear wheels, through an 8-speed PDK automatic gearbox. This allows the car to accelerate from 0-100km/h in just 4.8 seconds, reaching a top speed of up to 270km/h.
A look at the cutting-edge suspension setup
The latest iteration of the Porsche Panamera comes fitted with a standard dual-chamber two-valve air suspension, along with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). This advanced technology offers a balance between comfort and sportiness, by independently operating the rebound and compression stages of damper control. As a result, it lowers impact from transverse joints and road damage, while enhancing body stability during dynamic driving scenarios.
