2024 KTM 200 Duke goes official in new colors
KTM has launched two new colors for its popular 2024 model, the 200 Duke. The fresh paints, dubbed Electronic Orange and Dark Galvano, will be offered alongside the existing Dark Silver Metallic trim. The Electronic Orange color is not entirely new, but now features a set of sharper decals and a white tail section, replacing the silver panels of its predecessor.
It retains the classic design
Despite the color updates, the bodywork of the 200 Duke remains unchanged for the 2024 model. The motorbike continues to sport a low-slung, single-piece LED headlamp, identical to that of the 250 Duke from two generations ago. It also retains its 13.4-liter fuel tank with sharp extensions, as well as a pointed tail section with half of the sub-frame exposed.
Hardware and features remain unchanged
KTM has maintained the hardware package of the 200 Duke for the 2024 model. The motorcycle is fueled by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 24.67hp and 19.3Nm. It gets a six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch, and rides on 17-inch alloy wheels with WP inverted front forks, and a preload-adjustable mono-shock. The bike's braking system includes a front disc of 320mm and a rear disc of 230mm, both equipped with dual-channel ABS.
Pricing and market competition
The KTM 200 Duke costs ₹1.97 lakh (ex-showroom) and competes against motorcycles like the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and Yamaha MT 15. Despite the introduction of new color options, no changes have been made to its performance specifications or price. The bike comes with an LCD dashboard that lacks Bluetooth connectivity.
