2024 Kia Carnival debuts in India: Best MPV under ₹1cr?
Kia Motors has introduced the 2024 Carnival in India, marking the return of its flagship internal combustion engine model. The vehicle is priced at ₹63.90 lakh for the Limousine Plus variant and will be imported as a completely built unit (CBU). The new Carnival comes with a three-year warranty, free roadside assistance for three years, and three years of complimentary maintenance.
2024 Carnival: A look at the design
The 2024 Kia Carnival has undergone a significant transformation, adopting a bold, SUV-inspired look. The front features a wider and more dominant grille, vertically stacked LED headlights, and L-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). The vehicle's road presence is enhanced by new 18-inch alloy wheels and side body cladding that adds to its rugged persona. At the rear, connected LED tail lights reflect Kia's latest design language.
Inside the cabin of 2024 Carnival
The interior of the 2024 Kia Carnival is modern and tech-rich, with a seven-seat layout and two exterior color options - Glacier White Pearl and Fusion Black. The cabin offers two dual-tone theme interior options: Navy-Misty Gray and Tuscan-Umber. It includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless connectivity, a matching digital driver's display, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, an 11-inch heads-up display, powered and ventilated seats, wireless phone charging, and three-zone climate control.
Safety features and engine specifications of 2024 Carnival
The new Carnival is equipped with eight airbags, ABS, all-wheel disk brakes, a tire pressure monitoring system, and parking sensors at both ends. It also includes a 360-degree camera system and Level-2 ADAS suite with 23 features such as forward collision avoidance and lane keep assist. The vehicle is powered by a 2.2-liter diesel engine that delivers 190hp of power and 441Nm of torque. This engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and operates on a front-wheel drive setup.
