Jeep Wrangler (facelift) launched at ₹67.65 lakh: Check what's new
Jeep has launched the updated Wrangler SUV in the Indian market, with a starting price of ₹67.65 lakh for the Unlimited variant and ₹71.65 lakh for the Rubicon variant. The new series is approximately ₹5 lakh more expensive than its predecessor. Notable exterior updates include a sleek blacked-out grille, replacing the previous body-colored one, and new 18-inch alloy wheels on the Unlimited model.
Wrangler Unlimited and Rubicon feature new exterior colors
The Wrangler Unlimited now features a Gorilla glass windshield and offers five exterior color options, with Sarge Green added to the existing palette of Bright White, Black, Granite Crystal, and Firecracker Red. The Rubicon variant mirrors the Unlimited with its all-black grille and new 17-inch alloy wheels. It continues to offer the same range of colors while retaining all badges and decals that distinguish it as a more rugged version of the Wrangler.
Interior features of the 2024 Jeep Wrangler
The interior design of the revamped Wrangler remains largely consistent, with modifications made to accommodate a new 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen that operates on Jeep's latest Uconnect 5 OS. Both Unlimited and Rubicon variants now feature 12-way powered front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and six airbags—two more than before. Additional safety enhancements include electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, electronic roll mitigation, automatic headlamps, a tire pressure monitor, and rear parking sensors with a camera.
Both variants are powered by a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine
No changes have been made to the powertrain of the facelifted Jeep Wrangler. Both the Unlimited and Rubicon trims are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, which produces 270hp and 400Nm of peak torque. The mill is mated to an 8-speed torque convertor automatic along with the company's Selec-Trac full-time 4WD system. The Rubicon also boasts a Rock mode for the Selec-Trac system, locking front and rear differentials, an electronically controlled front sway bar, and a 240A alternator.
