Audi TT Special Edition, limited to 25 units, breaks cover
Audi has revealed a special edition of its iconic Tourist Trophy (TT) sports car, celebrating 25 years since the model first hit the scene in 1998. This limited-run version will be available only in Spain, with a mere 25 individually numbered coupes up for grabs. Based on the 45 TFSI Quattro model, the special edition TT comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine, delivering 245hp, and an all-wheel-drive system via a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
Performance and exterior enhancements
This special edition Audi TT packs a punch, zooming from 0-100km/h) in a swift 5.1 seconds, and topping out at an electronically governed 250km/h. Buyers can choose from Nogaro Blue, Tango Red, and Glacier White paint finishes, with the exterior sporting tinted windows, matrix LED headlights, and the S Line Competition Package. To complete the look, black-colored 20-inch Audi Sport wheels featuring a 10 Y-spoke design, are matched with eye-catching red brake calipers.
Luxurious interior upgrades
Inside the limited-run Audi TT, passengers enjoy a mix of leather and Alcantara upholstery with red or blue contrast stitching, depending on the selected exterior color. The cabin also offers S sports seats, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, carbon decorative inserts, and standard features like the Audi Virtual Cockpit. This exclusive model aims to deliver a luxurious and comfy driving experience.
Pricing and availability
The Audi TT Special Edition is set to hit the Spanish market in November, sporting a price tag of €72,800 (around Rs. 64.25 lakh). The special car will not arrive in India. This release follows last year's TT 25th anniversary Iconic Edition, which was based on the top-of-the-line RS model and limited to 100 units for Europe.
