2023 Porsche Macan T revealed as brand's first 'Touring SUV'
Porsche has pulled the wraps off its first "Touring SUV," the 2023 Macan T. The "T" in the name stands for "Touring." With the introduction of Macan T, the SUV line-up joins the 911 and 718 models to get the special T model. It sources the engine from the base trim but gains some performance goodies as well as cosmetic updates inside and out.

The Macan T joins the exclusive club of Porsche's Touring vehicles. It slots between the base model and the Macan S. The Macan T is not a radically different car from the base model. The SUV has LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System
The 2023 Porsche Macan T features a metallic Agate Gray exterior finish, a muscular hood, a rectangular black grille, and LED headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). It is flanked by ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, side blades with the "Macan T" logo in black, and 20-inch dark titanium alloy wheels. A roof-mounted spoiler and a full-width taillight grace the rear.
It gets a 7-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox
The 2023 Porsche Macan T draws power from a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that generates 261hp/400Nm. Transmission duties are handled by a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox. The SUV also has Porsche Traction Management all-wheel-drive system.
It gets decorative silver stitching on seats and steering wheel
The 2023 Porsche Macan T has a spacious 5-seater cabin featuring eight-way adjustable heated sports seats with the "Porsche" crest embossed on the headrest, decorative silver stitching, a multifunctional heated GT sports steering wheel, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch. It also houses the Porsche Communication Management system with a 10.9-inch touchscreen console that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and the Porsche Connect app.
2023 Porsche Macan T: Pricing and availability
Porsche will disclose the official pricing and availability details of the 2023 Macan T sometime next month. However, we expect it to start at around $60,000 (roughly Rs. 45 lakh) in the US.
