Why does this story matter?
The X7 is BMW's largest SUV in India and offers good looks, lots of features, and decent performance. The introduction of its facelifted version should raise its appeal in the market. The car should be priced competitively here and attract a lot of buyers. It will take on rivals such as the Mercedes-Benz GLS, Volvo XC90, and Audi Q7.
The car will have roof rails and triangular air vents
The 2023 BMW X7 will have a sculpted hood, a large chromed kidney grille, a split headlamp setup, and a refreshed front bumper with triangular air vents. On the sides, it will be flanked by roof rails, ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and designer multi-spoke alloy wheels. Wrap-around LED taillamps and a window wiper will grace the rear end of the SUV.
Three engine options are currently available in India
In India, the BMW X7 is currently fueled by a 340hp, 3.0-liter petrol engine; a 265hp, 3.0-liter straight-six diesel mill; and a 3.0-liter quad-turbo diesel motor that makes 400hp of power. Transmission duties are handled by an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The SUV will get 9 airbags and 7 seats
The new BMW X7 is likely to have a luxurious 7-seater cabin, featuring ventilated seats, a sunroof, auto climate control, a head-up display, rear AC vents, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It will house a touchscreen infotainment system with support for connectivity options like Apple CarPlay. The passengers' safety should be ensured by nine airbags, traction control, crash sensors, and a rear-view camera.

The pricing and availability details of the new BMW X7 in India will be disclosed at the time of its launch. However, it should carry a premium over the current model which falls in the price bracket of Rs. 1.15-1.73 crore (all prices, ex-showroom).
