2022 Toyota Glanza's unofficial bookings start; launch next month
Japanese automaker Toyota is expected to launch its facelifted Glanza hatchback in India this March. In the latest development, select dealerships have unofficially started accepting bookings for the upcoming four-wheeler. As for the highlights, the car will have a refreshed design and an upmarket cabin with a bevy of tech-biased features. It will be fueled by a 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine.

The car will have LED headlights and dual-tone alloy wheels
The 2022 Toyota Glanza will have a sloping roofline, a muscular bonnet, redesigned bumper and grille, as well as sleek LED headlights with DRLs. On the sides, it will be flanked by blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, sharp body lines, and 8-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels. A roof-mounted antenna, a window wiper, and LED taillights will grace the rear end of the vehicle.
It will run on an 89hp, 1.2-liter engine
The new Toyota Glanza should be fueled by a 1.2-liter DualJet petrol engine with idle-start/stop technology that makes 88.7hp of power. The motor will be linked to a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.
The hatchback will get a head-up display and six airbags
The upcoming Toyota Glanza will have a spacious 5-seater cabin, featuring new upholstery and color options, auto climate control, a head-up display, and a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control. It will house a 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and connected car technology. Six airbags, electronic stability control, and a 360-degree-view camera will ensure the passengers' safety.
2022 Toyota Glanza: Pricing and availability
Toyota will disclose the pricing and availability details of the 2022 Glanza in India at the time of its launch. However, the vehicle is tipped to bear a starting price-tag of around Rs. 7.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
