2022 Renault Kiger launched at Rs. 5.8 lakh: Check features
French automaker Renault has launched the 2022 iteration of its Kiger subcompact SUV in India. Bookings for the vehicle have already started. As for the highlights, the car flaunts cosmetic changes both inside and out, and offers new features including cruise control and wireless phone charging. Under the hood, it is available with a choice of two BS6-compliant petrol engines.

The 2022 Renault Kiger has a chromed grille, LED headlights, and a front skid plate. It sports a new shade called 'Metal Mustard with Mystery Black roof in Dual Tone'. It is flanked by roof rails, 'TURBO' door decals, and 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with red rim caps. A shark-fin antenna, C-shaped wrap-around taillights, and a chrome garnish on the tailgate grace the rear.
Two engine options are offered
Renault Kiger runs on a 1.0-liter naturally-aspirated petrol engine that makes 71hp/96Nm and a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol mill that generates 99hp/160Nm. Transmission duties are taken care of by a 5-speed manual/AMT and a CVT gearbox.
The vehicle gets a PM2.5 air filter and multiple airbags
The new Renault Kiger has a cabin with red accents on the dashboard, quilted seat upholstery with red stitching, a wireless phone charger, a PM2.5 air filter, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It houses an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The safety of the passengers is ensured by multiple airbags, cruise control, and ABS.

In India, the 2022 Renault Kiger subcompact SUV carries a starting price-tag of Rs. 5.84 lakh (ex-showroom). It is being manufactured at the brand's facility near Chennai and its bookings are open.
