2022 MG ZS EV clocks 1,500+ bookings in India
In a proud achievement for MG Motor, the 2022 iteration of the ZS EV SUV has received over 1,500 bookings in India this March. To recall, it was launched here last month. As for the highlights, the car has an Astor-inspired look and an upmarket feature-loaded cabin. It is fueled by an electric powertrain and promises a range of 461km per charge.

The car has LED headlights and 17-inch wheels
The 2022 MG ZS EV sports a muscular hood, a closed front grille with an integrated charging port, LED headlights with L-shaped DRLs, and revised bumpers. It is flanked by roof rails, black B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, flared wheel arches, and designer 17-inch alloy wheels. A shark-fin antenna, a window wiper, and wrap-around LED taillamps are available on the rear end.
It runs on a 173hp electric powertrain
In India, the MG ZS EV houses an electric motor linked to a 50.3kWh battery pack and delivers a combined output of 173hp/280Nm. The four-wheeler promises a range of 461km on a single charge (as per the WLTP cycle).
The SUV gets a panoramic roof and six airbags
The new MG ZS EV has a spacious cabin with a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charging pad, power-adjustable front seats, a PM2.5 air filter, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It houses a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for 75+ connected car features. Six airbags, a 360-degree-view camera, and cruise control ensure the passengers' safety.

In India, the 2022 MG ZS EV starts at Rs. 21.99 lakh for the base Excite model and goes up to Rs. 25.88 lakh for the range-topping Exclusive variant (both prices, ex-showroom, New Delhi).
