2022 MG ZS EV will be offered in four shades
MG Motor is gearing up to launch the facelifted version of its ZS EV SUV in India on March 7. In the latest development, the colors in which the four-wheeler will be available have been revealed by ZigWheels. It will be offered in Black, Gray, Red, and White colorways. The car can reportedly be booked unofficially by paying a token amount of Rs. 50,000.
Why does this story matter?
MG Motor's ZS EV has always been synonymous with its trademark blue color. However, to the surprise of many, the new iteration of the SUV, which is set to arrive in India soon, will not sport the blue shade. With a more crisp exterior and feature-packed interior, the 2022 ZS EV will take on the Tata Nexon EV and Hyundai KONA Electric in India.
The SUV will have 17-inch alloy wheels
The 2022 MG ZS EV will feature a sculpted hood, a body-colored grille with a textured pattern and a charging socket, a redesigned front bumper, and sleek headlights. On the sides, it will sport blacked-out B-pillars, roof rails, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The SUV will be offered in Black, Gray, Red, and White shades.
It will deliver a range of around 480km
The 2022 MG ZS EV will be powered by an electric motor mated with a 51kWh battery pack. The powertrain details of the SUV are yet to be revealed, but it is expected to offer a range of around 480km on a single charge.
The car will pack a 10.1-inch infotainment panel
The facelifted MG ZS EV will have a spacious 5-seater cabin with a panoramic sunroof, rear seats with adjustable headrests, armrests with individual cupholders, and rear AC vents. It will house a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. To ensure passengers' safety, the car will have Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, and multiple airbags.

The official pricing and availability details of the 2022 ZS EV will be disclosed by MG at the time of its launch on March 7. However, it should carry a premium over the outgoing model, which begins at Rs. 21.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
