2022 MG ZS EV goes official at Rs. 22 lakh
British automaker MG Motor has launched the 2022 version of its ZS EV SUV in India. It is offered in two variants, namely Excite and Exclusive. As for the highlights, the car bears a revised look and a luxurious cabin with a bevy of tech-based features. It runs on an electric powertrain and promises a range of up to 461km on a single charge.

The car has LED headlights and 17-inch wheels
The 2022 MG ZS EV sports a sculpted bonnet, a revised closed grille with an integrated charging socket, swept-back LED headlights, wraparound taillamps, and tweaked bumpers. On the sides, it is flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. It is available in four color options, namely Ashen Silver, Ferris White, Sable Black, and Currant Red.
It is fueled by a 173hp electric powertrain
MG ZS EV packs an electric motor linked to a 50.3kWh battery that can be charged from 0-80% in an hour using a 50kW charger. The setup delivers a combined output of 173hp/280Nm and allows the SUV to deliver a range of 461km per charge.
The four-wheeler gets 75+ connected car features and six airbags
The new MG ZS EV has a six-way electrically-adjustable driver's seat, a panoramic sunroof, air purifier, wireless charging, and rear AC vents. It houses a digital instrument cluster and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 75+ connected car features. A 360-degree-view camera, six airbags, rear cross-traffic alert, lane change assist, ABS, and electronic stability control ensure safety.
2022 MG ZS EV: Pricing and availability
The Excite and Exclusive variants of the 2022 MG ZS EV sport a price figure of Rs. 22 lakh and Rs. 25.88 lakh, respectively (both prices, ex-showroom). The Excite trim will be sold from July onward.
