2022 KTM 390 Adventure makes way to Indian dealerships
KTM is expected to launch the 2022 version of its 390 Adventure motorbike in India soon. In the latest development, the first batch of these models has started arriving at dealerships across the country. As for the highlights, the vehicle has an aggressive design, offers lots of tech-based features, and draws power from a 373.2cc, single-cylinder engine that puts out 42.3hp of power.
Why does this story matter?
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure debuted in the global markets in December last year and should be introduced in India in the coming weeks. The two-wheeler offers decent performance, sporty looks, as well as multiple riding aids. Once it arrives here, the competition in the market will increase and the bike should attract quite a few buyers.
The bike has a TFT instrument console and adjustable windshield
The 2022 KTM 390 Adventure sports a sloping fuel tank with extensions, handguards, an adjustable windscreen, an upswept exhaust, and a stepped-up seat. The motorcycle gets a TFT instrument cluster with support for turn-by-turn navigation, a full-LED lighting setup, a 12V charging port, and rides on 5-spoke cast aluminium wheels. It is offered in two new shades with orange accents.
It is fueled by a 42hp, 373cc engine
The new KTM 390 Adventure runs on a 373.2cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 42.3hp and a peak torque of 37Nm. The motor is paired to a 6-speed gearbox and a bi-directional quickshifter.
There are disc brakes on both the ends
To ensure the rider's safety, the 2022 KTM 390 Adventure is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with traction control and dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding on the roads while braking. Suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by non-adjustable inverted forks on the front end and a mono-shock unit on the rear side.
