2022 Hyundai Venue N Line spied on test; design revealed
South Korean automaker Hyundai is expected to unveil its Venue N Line SUV later this year. In the latest development, a partially camouflaged mule of the vehicle has been spotted testing in India, revealing important design elements. The pictures suggest that it will have a twin-tip exhaust, N Line badging, designer alloy wheels, and roof rails, among other highlights.
Why does this story matter?
The N Line will be the performance-oriented variant of the Hyundai Venue SUV and will offer better looks, features, as well as suspension. A lot of buyers should be interested in getting their hands on this model. When the car makes its way to our shores, the competition in the SUV segment will be raised to a great extent.
The car will sport indicator-mounted ORVMs and tweaked bumpers
The Hyundai Venue N Line will have a muscular hood, a wide grille, tweaked bumpers, N Line badging on the front fender, and narrow headlights. On the sides, it will be flanked by roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and sporty alloy wheels. A shark-fin antenna, wraparound taillights, and a dual-tip exhaust will be available on the rear end of the four-wheeler.
It will be fueled by a 118hp, 1.0-liter engine
The Hyundai Venue N Line will draw power from a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 118hp and a peak torque of 172Nm. The mill will be linked to an iMT or a 7-speed DCT gearbox.
The vehicle will get ABS and a rear-view camera
The Hyundai Venue N Line should have a spacious cabin with auto climate control, parking sensors, key-less entry, and a multifunctional steering wheel. The safety of the passengers will be ensured by multiple airbags, ABS, crash sensors, EBD, and a rear-view camera. It will also house a touchscreen infotainment panel with support for the latest connectivity options.
Hyundai Venue N Line: Pricing and availability
Hyundai will disclose the pricing and availability details of the Venue N Line in India at the time of its launch. However, the four-wheeler is likely to cost around Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom).
