2022 Audi A8, S8 arrive with better looks and features
Audi has revealed the 2022 iterations of its A8 and S8 sedans in the US. They should also make their way to India. As for the highlights, both the cars offer minute cosmetic changes and luxurious cabins with lots of tech-based features, including four-zone automatic climate control. Under the hood, the A8 and S8 draw power from a V6 and V8 engine, respectively.

The cars have a single-frame grille and OLED taillights
The 2022 Audi A8 and S8 have a sloping roofline, a wide single-frame grille, sleek LED headlamps, and wide air scoops. On the sides, they are flanked by ORVMS, B-pillars, and 21-inch wheels. A shark-fin antenna, a raked windscreen, a diffuser, and customizable OLED taillights grace the rear end of the vehicles. The S8 also gets quad exhaust tips.
The new S8 can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds
The new Audi A8 runs on a 3.0-liter, turbocharged, V6 engine that makes 340hp/500Nm and can sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds. Meanwhile, the S8 is fueled by a 563hp/800Nm, 4.0-liter, twin-turbocharged V8 mill and can accelerate from 0-100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
The vehicles get heated seats and a wireless smartphone charger
The Audi A8 and S8 have heated and ventilated seats wrapped in leather upholstery, a center console with fold-out wing tables in the rear, four-zone automatic climate control, and a Bang & Olufsen audio system. They house a wireless smartphone charger, a 10.1-inch MMI touchscreen infotainment system, and a smaller 8.6-inch screen below it. An optional head-up display and multiple airbags are also available.
2022 Audi A8 and S8: Pricing
In the US, the 2022 Audi A8 sports a starting price-figure of $86,500 (around Rs. 64.6 lakh), while the new-generation S8 carries a starting price-tag of $116,900 (roughly Rs. 87.3 lakh). Details regarding their availability in India are yet to be announced.
