Triumph should unveil the updated version of its Tiger 1200 motorbike in the second half of 2021.
In the latest development, a test mule of the bike has been found testing, revealing its key highlights.
As per the images, it will look sharper compared to its predecessor and will offer many riding aids. It will run on a Speed Triple-sourced 1,160cc 3-cylinder engine.

2021 Triumph Tiger 1200: At a glance
The 2021 Triumph Tiger 1200 will have an off-road friendly look, featuring a sloping fuel tank with extensions, a stepped-up seat, a raised windscreen, golden-colored front forks, and a double-sided swingarm.
The bike should pack a digital instrument console and an all-LED setup for lighting.
It should ride on wire-spoke wheels, weigh 251kg, and offer a 20-liter fuel tank.

Power and performance
The 2021 Triumph Tiger 1200 should draw power from a 1,160cc, in-line, 3-cylinder engine linked to a 6-speed gearbox. On the Speed Triple RS variant, the mill makes 178hp of maximum power and 125Nm of peak torque.
Safety
Safety and suspension setup
To ensure the safety of the rider, the 2021 Triumph Tiger 1200 should be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding on the roads while braking.
Suspension duties on the motorcycle should be taken care of by 48mm inverted forks on the front side and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.

The pricing and availability details of the 2021 Triumph Tiger 1200 will be revealed at the launch event, later this year. In India, it is expected to carry a price-tag of around Rs. 17 lakh (ex-showroom).
