Japanese automaker Suzuki's 2021 Gixxer 250 motorcycle has been revealed in Japan. It will be launched there on May 25, and will be manufactured in India. As for the highlights, the two-wheeler has a sporty design and comes with a digital instrument console and a full-LED lighting setup. It draws power from a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine linked to a 6-speed gearbox. Here's more.
The bike comes in two shades
The 2021 Suzuki Gixxer 250 naked streetfighter has a muscular fuel tank with extensions, a stepped-up seat, a double-barrel megaphone exhaust, and an oval-shaped headlight. The bike packs a digital instrument console, an all-LED setup for lighting, and rides on blacked-out alloy wheels. It is up for grabs in two shades: Matte Black and Triton Blue.
It runs on a 26hp, 249cc engine
The 2021 Suzuki Gixxer 250 draws power from a 249cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 26.1hp at 9,300rpm and a peak torque of 22.2Nm at 7,300rpm.
Disc brakes on both the wheels ensure safety
To ensure the safety of the rider, the 2021 Suzuki Gixxer 250 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS, for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by 41mm telescopic forks on the front side, and a mono-shock unit on the rear end.

In Japan, the 2021 Suzuki Gixxer 250 shall be launched on May 25. As far as its pricing is concerned, the vehicle shall sport a tag of ¥448,800 (approximately Rs. 3.09 lakh).
