SKODA OCTAVIA to be launched by April-end; deliveries from May

Director of SKODA AUTO India, Zac Hollis has confirmed that the 2021 OCTAVIA sedan will be launched in India by the end of April and deliveries shall commence from May-end.
As for the highlights, the vehicle will have a sporty look and a spacious feature-packed cabin. It should be offered with a choice of two petrol engines.

The car will have a length of 4,689mm
The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA will feature a sloping roofline, a chrome-surrounded grille with vertical slats, a muscular bonnet, a new bumper, and sleek headlamps.
It will be flanked by ORVMs, blacked-out B-pillars, and alloy wheels. Wrap-around taillights and 'SKODA' lettering will be available on the rear end.
As for the dimensions, it will have a wheelbase of 2,686mm and a length of 4,689mm.

It will come with a choice of two engines
The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA sedan should be powered by a BS6-compliant 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that churns out 188hp/320Nm and is linked to a 7-speed automatic gearbox. A 1.5-liter TSI turbo-petrol motor that generates 148hp of power might also be on offer.
Interiors
The vehicle will have a tech-savvy cabin
The 2021 SKODA OCTAVIA will have a spacious cabin with a sunroof, wireless smartphone charger, automatic climate control, and a multifunctional steering wheel.
It will pack a 10.25-inch virtual cockpit and a 10.0-inch infotainment panel with support for a voice assistant and 'MySKODA Connect' app.
Multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear-view camera will ensure the safety of the passengers.
