Ahead of launch, 2021 Renault KIGER's color variants revealed
Renault is expected to launch its KIGER SUV in India by March 2021. In the latest development, CarDekho has revealed the color variants of the car. It will be offered in six shades, namely, Mahogany Brown, Caspian Blue, Moonlight Silver, Ice Cool White and Planet Gray. A dual-tone Radiant Red and Black Roof color option will be exclusive to the top-tier model.
Renault KIGER: At a glance
The Renault KIGER sports an aggressive front bumper, a winged front grille with horizontal chrome slates, a shark fin antenna, and a silver rear skid plate. The sides are flanked by silver roof rails, blacked-out B-pillars, ORVMs, and diamond-cut 16-inch alloy wheels. For lighting, the SUV packs three-pod LED headlamps, sleek LED DRLs, and C-shaped LED taillights.
Power and performance
The Renault KIGER will come with two BS6-compliant petrol engines: a 1.0-liter unit that delivers 71hp/96Nm and a 1.0-liter turbocharged motor that generates 98hp/160Nm. A 5-speed manual, a 5-speed automatic and a CVT gearbox will carry out the transmission duties.
A peek inside the cabin
The Renault KIGER features a 5-seater cabin with auto climate control, a wireless phone charger, rear AC vents, and a multifunctional steering wheel, and ambient lighting. It sports an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment panel with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For safety, the SUV has provisions like multiple airbags, ISOFIX child-seat mounts, a 360-degree-view camera, and ABS with EBD.
Pricing and availability
