2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift to be launched later this month
Maruti Suzuki will reportedly launch the 2021 version of its Swift hatchback in India on February 17 or 18. As for the highlights, the car will have a refreshed look and a spacious cabin with several new features. It shall draw power from a BS6-compliant 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol engine linked to a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. Here's our roundup.

The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift will have a radiator grille with a chromed horizontal bar, automatic LED headlamps with DRLs, and a muscular bonnet. The hatchback will be flanked by blacked-out B-pillars, indicator-mounted ORVMs, and 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. There will be wrap-around taillights and a window wiper on the rear. It should have a wheelbase of 2,450mm and a ground clearance of 163mm.
Power and performance
The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift will draw power from a BS6-compliant 1.2-liter Dualjet petrol engine that makes 89hp of power and 113Nm of torque. The motor will be linked to a 5-speed manual or an automatic gearbox for handling transmission duties.
A peek inside the cabin
The 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift will have a 5-seater cabin with auto climate control, fabric upholstery, and a multifunctional power steering wheel. It will pack a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. For the safety of the passengers, multiple airbags, crash sensors, ABS with EBD, an engine immobilizer, and a rear-view camera should be available.

The pricing and availability details of the 2021 Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback in India will be announced at the time of launch. As for the pocket-pinch, it should carry a premium over the current model which starts at Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).
