2021 JAWA Forty Two motorcycle teased, launch in India soon
Ahead of its launch in India, Classic Legends has teased its 2021 JAWA Forty Two motorcycle. Separately, RushLane has leaked the press renders of the bike, revealing its key design highlights. As per the images, the upcoming JAWA Forty Two will get three new colors, blacked-out body parts, alloy wheels, and a pillion grab rail. Here are more details.

2021 JAWA Forty Two: At a glance
The 2021 JAWA Forty Two will have a sloping fuel tank and a flat-type seat with a new stitching pattern. There will be a blacked-out finish on the headlight bezel, exhaust, engine cover, as well as some other body parts. The bike will also pack a semi-digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, a bulb taillight, and shall ride on designer alloy wheels.
Power and performance
The 2021 JAWA Forty Two should draw power from a BS6-compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The mill should generate 26.14hp of maximum power and 27.05Nm of peak torque.
Safety and suspension setup
To ensure the safety of the rider, the 2021 JAWA Forty Two will be equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with single-channel ABS to avoid skidding on the roads while braking. Suspension duties on the motorcycle should be taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and hydraulic twin shock absorbers on the rear end.
What about the pricing?
The pricing and availability details of the 2021 JAWA Forty Two in India will be revealed at the launch event, which will happen in the coming days. However, it should carry some premium over the current-generation model which starts at Rs. 1.68 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
