Here's how the 2021 Hyundai Tucson will look like
Hyundai is working to launch the fourth-generation model of its popular SUV, the Tucson, in international markets in the coming months. Now, a new rendered drawing, based on the spy images of the car, has surfaced online, giving us an idea about the updated design. Notably, the SUV will take its styling inspiration from the Vision T concept that was unveiled last year.
The new Hyundai Tucson will look sportier than before
The 2021 Tucson will get a bunch of design updates over the existing model. As per the rendered images, the upcoming car will sport a wider cascading grille with split LED headlamps, and a muscular bonnet with sculpted lines. Besides that, it will get an angular-looking side profile with newly designed diamond-cut alloy wheels; it will be dimensionally bigger than the outgoing model.
Inside the cabin
The details about the interiors of 2021 Hyundai Tucson are yet to be revealed. However, quite like the outgoing model, the upcoming car will offer a spacious cabin with power-adjustable leather seats, automatic climate control, and an electric sunroof. The car will also offer a touchscreen infotainment panel with connectivity features and retain the standard safety elements of the current-generation variant.
Power and performance
There is not much information available about the mechanical specifications of the 2021 Hyundai Tucson. For reference, the current-generation model is offered with 2.0-liter petrol and diesel engines. The petrol unit is capable of producing 155PS of maximum power, while the diesel mill generates 185PS.
And, how much will it cost?
Hyundai will reveal the official pricing and availability details of the next-generation Tucson at a later stage. However, the updated SUV is likely to carry a significant premium over the current-generation model, which starts at Rs. 18.76 lakh. Once launched, it will take on the likes of Tata Harrier, Jeep Compass, and Honda CR-V.
