Four new shades for 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 in India
Bajaj Auto launched the 2021 Pulsar 180 motorcycle in India this February in a single glossy red-and-black paintwork. But in the latest development, the bike has now received four new shades: Matte Red, Matte Black, Matte Blue, and Moon White. However, there are no changes when it comes to its design and the BS6-compliant engine. Here's our roundup.
The bike has a halogen headlight for lighting
The 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 has a sporty look, featuring a sloping fuel tank with extensions, stepped-up seats, an upswept exhaust, and a tinted visor. The bike packs a semi-digital instrument console, a halogen headlamp, a bulb taillight, and rides on blacked-out alloy wheels. It has a 15-liter fuel tank and tips the scales at 151kg.
It runs on a 17hp, 179cc engine
The 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 draws power from a BS6-compliant 178.6cc air-cooled, fuel-injected engine linked to a 5-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 16.78hp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 14.52Nm at 6,500rpm.
Disc brakes on both the wheels ensure safety
To ensure the safety of the rider, the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with single-channel ABS for improved handling on roads. Suspension duties on the motorcycle are taken care of by telescopic forks with an anti-friction bush on the front side and a 5-way adjustable Nitrox shock absorber on the rear end.
2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180: Pricing and availability
In India, the 2021 Bajaj Pulsar 180 carries a price tag of Rs. 1.07 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Also, its units sporting the four new colors are already making their way to dealerships and should be launched soon.
