Suzuki launches 2020 Hayabusa in India for Rs. 13.75 lakh
Japanese automaker Suzuki has launched the 2020 edition of its iconic motorcycle, the Hayabusa, at Rs. 13.75 lakh in India today. The updated motorcycle comes with new front brake calipers as well as minor design updates including restyled graphics and two new color options. This is the final version of the BS4-compliant Hayabusa and will be available in limited numbers. Here's our roundup.
A look at the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa
Just like the outgoing model, the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa offers a fully-faired sporty look with superb aerodynamic bodywork, a muscular fuel tank, and beefy-looking fairings with new graphics. The single-piece seat, a curved wind-screen, and body-colored alloy wheels add more to its sporty stance. Apart from that, the 2020 model also gets two new color options: Metallic Thunder Gray and Candy Daring Red.
Power and performance
The 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa remains mechanically the same as the outgoing model. It is powered by a BS4-compliant 1,340cc liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine which is capable of producing 199.7bhp of power and 155Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the motorcycle promises a massive top speed of 312kmph and can accelerate from 0-100kmph in just 2.74 seconds.
2020 Suzuki Hayabusa: On the road
In the braking department, the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa comes equipped with twin disc brake up front, a single disc brake on the rear, and dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding while braking. The motorcycle houses inverted telescopic forks on the front and link type coil spring absorber on the rear to handle the suspension duties.
And, what about pricing and availability?
As far as the pricing is concerned, the 2020 Suzuki Hayabusa costs Rs. 13.75 lakh in India, which is same as the outgoing model. The company is also planning to launch a new Euro 5/BS6-compliant version of the iconic motorcycle in near future.
