Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2020 edition of its popular sedan, the Dzire, in India. The facelifted version comes with minor cosmetic tweaks, a BS6-ready engine, and an updated infotainment unit. The 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire looks largely similar to the pre-facelift version but comes with an updated front profile featuring a new front bumper as well as grille, and redesigned fog lamp housing. The car gets an appealing side profile with a sloping roof design, angular-looking alloy wheels, and indicator-mounted ORVMs. Dimensions-wise, the facelifted model is identical to the outgoing variant.
Inside the cabin
Inside, the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire offers similar interiors as the outgoing variant. The car has a five-seater cabin with power-windows, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and a multifunctional steering wheel with cruise control. The sedan also features a 7-inch Smartplay Studio 2.0 infotainment system with connectivity features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Furthermore, it retains the safety elements of the outgoing model.
Power and performance
The 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire draws power from a BS6-compliant 1.2-liter four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that comes mated to either a five-speed manual gearbox or an AMT system. The motor is capable of producing 82bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque.

As far as its pricing is concerned, the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Dzire starts at Rs. 5.89 lakh for the entry-level LXi (manual) model and goes up to Rs. 8.80 lakh for the top-tier ZXi+ (automatic) variant. At this price point, the car takes on the likes of Hyundai Aura, Honda Amaze, and Volkswagen Vento.
