2020 Kawasaki Z900RS, Z900RS Cafe unveiled with new color options
Kawasaki has introduced new color options for its retro motorcycles- the Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe. The Kawasaki Z900RS gets Candy Green and Plain Black color options with Yellow stripes on the fuel tank, while the Z900RS Cafe has received a new Greyish-Blue variant with White stripes across fuel tank. Let's take a look at the motorcycles
The Kawasaki Z900RS sports a retro design with its naked body, rounded headlamps, flat seats, and chrome finished exhausts. On the other hand, the Z900RS Cafe gets a semi faired design with stepped seats, transparent windscreen, body-colored mudguards and stripes on the alloy wheels. Moreover, both the motorcycles sport a digital-analog instrument console along with an all-LED setup for lighting.
Power and performance
The Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe are powered by the same 948cc liquid-cooled, 4-Stroke, DOHC engine which makes 124.7PS of maximum power on Z900RS and 111.5PS on Z900RS Cafe. Both motorcycles generate the same 98.5Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. For transmission duties, both the retro bikes get a six-speed manual gearbox.
Kawasaki Z900RS and Z900RS Cafe: On the road
On the safety front, these retro motorcycles come equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with dual-channel ABS and traction control for better road handling. To handle suspension duties, the motorcycles get 41mm adjustable upside-down forks on the front and a monoshock suspension on the rear.
Will these new color variants come to India?
There is no official confirmation about the India launch of these new models as of now. However, according to a report, the new model of the Kawasaki Z900RS may arrive in India sometime around the end of this year.
