2020 CFMoto 400NK and 650NK images leaked: Details here
Chinese automaker CFMoto is set to globally unveil the 2020 editions of its popular sports bikes, the 400NK and 650NK. And now, just days ahead of their official reveal at the 2019 EICMA show in Spain, the images of the upcoming motorcycles have leaked online. Reportedly, both the models have received minor design updates while retaining the mechanics of their predecessors. Here is more.
First, let's take a look at both the bikes
Both the upcoming 400NK and 650NK bikes look similar to their predecessors with the same naked street design, stepped-up seat, and blacked-out alloy wheels. However, the models have received minor design updates including a dual-tone front fender and longer fuel tank extensions. Also, the 650NK now gets a full-color TFT instrument panel, while the 400NK continues to use the same LCD cluster.
Power and performance
The 2020 models of both the 400NK and 650NK retain the mechanical specifications of their respective outgoing variants. Hence, the former is powered by a 400cc liquid-cooled engine which churns out 41PS of power, while the latter draws power from 649cc mill which produces 61PS of power. The transmission duties on both these bikes are handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Here's a look at the safety and suspension setup
On the safety front, the updated models of the CFMoto 400NK and 650NK come equipped with disc brakes on both the wheels along with dual-channel ABS to avoid skidding while braking. Both models also house conventional telescopic forks on the front and a monoshock unit on the rear to handle the suspension duties.
Will these models come to India?
The CFMoto will unveil the 2020 editions of the 400NK and 650NK bikes at the 2019 EICMA show, which is slated to commence from November 5. In India, the company sells its bikes in partnership with Bengaluru-based AMW Motors. Hence, we expect the new models to grace our shores sometime next year.
